Constructed for a family of five that entertains their extended family members a lot, this house is an open plan where maximum space on the ground floor is designed for entertainment. However the facility for entertaining formal guests was also incorporated on this floor, by creating a smaller but spacious looking drawing room with outdoor access.

The basement was created as a multi use space, which could either be turned into an office with an independent access or could be turned into an additional entertainment area.  The basement has been lit well, by strategically placing a linear skylight at the top floor, and cutting voids through lower floors, which are used for stairs.

The outer elevation is covered with indigenous taxilla stone on the curved exterior wall, acting as an accent wall and the remaining façade is treated with plane painted finish to act as a background to this stone wall.
